Hajira brings a strong foundation in healthcare communications and a genuine passion for science-led storytelling. She has experience managing a wide range of client accounts and delivering both strategic and creative campaigns across global and local markets. Her academic background includes an MBiol in Biological Sciences, where she focused on virology and microbiology—areas that deepened her understanding of disease mechanisms and continue to shape her approach to translating complex science into clear, impactful healthcare communication.
Beyond her day-to-day role, Hajira is committed to public health and science engagement. During her internship with Yorkshire MESMAC, she contributed to HIV prevention initiatives and published an article in Men’s Health Unlocked. She has also shared her insights into client services in medical communications with STEM students at the University of Manchester, helping to inspire the next generation of science communicators.

What drew me to Curious Health was the commitment to delivering impactful work and forward-thinking approach to healthcare communications and PR. I want to be a part of something that’s not just keeping up with change but driving it.

What do you do when you’re not working?
When I’m not working, I love cooking for my friends and family—it’s my way of showing love. I also have got into arts and crafts to decompress; right now, I’m doing a paint-by-numbers, which has been super fun. On weekends, I’m usually out exploring more of Manchester and finding new bars and restaurants.

I’m really passionate about people—getting to know them, understanding what drives them, and finding ways to connect and support them. Whether it’s through work or just day-to-day interactions, I love being part of something that brings people together and makes a difference in their lives.
